The real business problem
Leave, shifts and punches describe the same workday
Leave, attendance, shifts and time data sourcing are connected processes. Exceptions must be understood before action is taken.

Leave and entitlements
Errors in leave balances lead to unfair decisions and manual reviews.
A leave request involves more than entering start and end dates. The manager's decision requires reviewing the entitlement policy, balance, overlaps, holidays and team schedule. The system saves the request and its status and updates entitlement records according to the approved approval cycle. The distinction must remain clear between a confirmed balance and a displayed figure that has not been calculated due to permissions or unavailable data.
How does the process move?
From the leave request, we show the policy, allocation, balance, transactions and conflicts, followed by the approval workflow.
OutcomeFaster decisions and a balance traceable to its source.

Time and attendance and exceptions
Hundreds of punches do not mean attendance is accurate.
The number of punches is not a measure of attendance accuracy. The operational screen starts with the exception: Who is missing a clock-in or clock-out punch? Is there a shift? Is there leave or a correction request? This section displays related records and distinguishes between a correction request and final attendance approval. From here, the time officer can track how long exceptions have been pending and their causes instead of manually rechecking hundreds of rows.
How does the process move?
We show exceptions first, linking them to punches, shifts, leave and correction requests.
OutcomeLess manual searching and greater clarity on the cause of errors.

Shifts and overtime
A shift schedule may look complete while overlooking conflicts and coverage.
A sound shift plan is more than allocating hours across a weekly schedule. Coverage, overlaps, employee leave, swap requests and overtime hours are reviewed before approval. The screen shows the manager's daily decision and what needs adjustment, without assuming that approved overtime hours are automatically transferred to payroll unless a verified link is in place.
How does the process move?
We compare assignments with requests and leave, then display scheduling and conflicts.
OutcomeScheduling that can be reviewed before coverage decisions are saved.

Attendance sources and imports
Different time punch sources produce duplicate or unlinked records.
- Inputs and data
- Import file
- Capture source
- Employee number
- Time
- Format
- How does the process move?
We review the latest sync, import batches and unlinked entries, and trace them back to the original document.
- Outputs and documents
- Import batch
- Accepted/rejected records
- Data source trail
- Duplicate row
- Unknown employee
- Invalid time/format
Even the best attendance report loses credibility when the source of an entry is unknown. This section explains how time records enter from a source or file, how batches are reviewed, and how records are classified as accepted, duplicate or rejected. An import screen does not prove a direct connection to biometric devices or an external service provider; that requires a live integration log and testing.
OutcomeThe ability to correct the attendance source and monitor its quality.
